On March 13, 2020 Quebec Premier Fran├žois Legault announced restrictions to deal with the Covid-19 virus that had started to propagate in the province. As a photographer living in the Montreal area I suddenly had, and have, a large amount of time now to do whatever I want - unfortunately that means no work.

I am using this time - and the fact that the price of gasoline is pretty low these days - to take a few photos of the city and its suburbs. Montreal was, and is, a very vibrant city that is active 24 hours a day. These photos will show you what it's like during this time of isolation.  Note that any time mentioned is aproximate.

A quick note... you'll notice that there are no humans in these photos. If I do encounter someone I continue on my way to find another empty spot. Nothing is touched - no railings, benches, windows or handrails. I am in and out of the car in minutes with just my cameras - no tripod or monopod.  I hope you like my photos.

thank you John for your assistance  :)
